Somersett Golf & Country Club - Dress Code

Golf Attire for Men: Proper attire will include slacks or golf shorts that are not shorter than 5” above the knee. Proper shirts include mock neck or collared golf shirts. Sweaters, jackets, windshirts, and vests are acceptable outerwear. Hats are to be worn facing forward. No denim is allowed on the golf course or practice facilities including the driving range, putting green and the short game chipping area.

Golf Attire for Women: Proper attire will include slacks, skorts and shorts. We recognize that current short styles may be shorter than the old “Bermuda shorts”, but shorts must not be shorter then 18” in length. Proper shirts will cover your midriff. Sweaters, jackets, windshirts, and vests are acceptable outerwear. No denim is allowed on the golf course or practice facilities including the driving range, putting green and the short game chipping area.

Golf Attire for Children: Children over the age of 13 should be dressed in proper golf attire. Blue jeans and tee shirts are not allowed.

Suitable Golf Footwear: Spikeless golf shoes or flat bottomed tennis style shoes are required at the practice facility and on the course.

Attire that is not allowed at the clubhouse, golf course, and practice range includes: • Running shorts, gym shorts, swim trunks or cutoffs • Tank tops, halter tops, or tube tops • Tee shirts • Denim is not allowed on the golf course or practice facilities including the driving range, putting green and the short game chipping area.  However, Denim  is allowed in the 19th Hole and tent area for dining and social functions. We ask that you advise your guests of the dress code when they will be joining you at the Club. This policy applies to the clubhouse, golf course and practice range. Members are responsible for the dress and etiquette of their guests. Proper golf attire will be available for purchase in the Golf Shop.
